Why We Sing
There are many scriptures that associate “singing” with our Lord. We believe that God has given us a measure of talent and expects us to share His word in song to a lost and dying world. A few scriptures that we would like to share
Psalm 100:2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
Isaiah 49:13 Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.
Isaiah 51:11 Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.
Ephesians 5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
What We Believe
We believe that God inspired and holds authority over all Scripture.
We believe that the Bible reveals God, the fall of man, the way of salvation, and God’s plan and purpose for the ages.
We believe in God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity, virgin birth, and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ.
We believe that salvation is by Grace alone and is a free gift from God through the sacrifice of His son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Salvation establishes an eternal relationship that can never be broken.
We believe that Jesus Christ will return to earth someday as King of kings and Lord of lords.
We believe that living the Christian life is not a "religion" of rules but rather a relationship with Jesus Christ. The strength of this relationship will dictate the degree to which we are willing to pursue a life that is pleasing to God
